Privacy policy

General Data Protection Regulation is a EU regulation that is for all companies in EU
The regulation is to protect all citizen and there personal data in EU
It has been applied since 25. May 2018. Also called GDPR
As a stundent in the driving school you are also covered by this regulation.

We are committed to inform you about what kind of data we collect, how we are used them, who we give them to and your rights to know them and your rights to get them deleted

Personal data

In order for you to be registered in the driving school, we need to know and collect some data about you. You provide this data to the driving school when you register. You also give them to us when filling in your application form at the start of the class.

The data we collect and need are:
Your name, your adress and your phone number
Your cpr number
Your e-mail
We need and use this data / information to establish you in the booking sytem for when we have to book the test for you

The collected data will be destroyed when you have finished the driving school and must no longer be saved.

Storing and deleting of your data

Some of your data we only store in the time you are active in the driving school. Some of your data from the lessonplan we have due to the rules of lessonplan have to store for 5 years.

It is your rights to get them deleted, but we also have to abide the law about bookkeeping.

Disclosure of your data

We have to give some of your data to external partners, those are the driving technical facility we use for the training tack and the driving technic course.

There is also data from the application form, the Danish Road Traffic Authority is after finish your practical test, there responsibility
We don give your data to anyone else

Your rights

It is your rights to know we collect the data and keep them for the time we need them

It is also your rights to get to know what we use them for. We hope with explanation of the above you have understanded how we use, what we share and that we delete when not needed anymore

Agreement

Due to the GDPR we will at the first theory class ask you to sign an agreement about the collection, storing and that we inform you about all those rules due to the GDPR

We will also ask for an agreement to take a picture of you after finish the practical test. The photo is only used for  an add and used on our facebook page and no where else.

Worth knowing before you start

Below we have collected a few things you should know

In reality, you don’t need to do anything before you start, but there can be things that are an advantage to have in place when you start taking a driving license. You will also be informed of all this the first time you attend the driving school.
These things are :

  • Get a photo done for your driving license – we recomand by a photographer like Photocare
  • Get an appointment with your own doctor for a medical report
  • Book an appointment for a first aid course (only if you don’t already have one)

A photo must comply with certain requirements (just as a passport photo must), these include requirements of size 35 x 45 mm, no headgear and other requirements. If you need to know them, you can find information about this on the police website. I therefore recommend that you go to a photo shop that makes photos for passports and driving licences, so you get the right photo straight away.

Yes, you need a photo for your driver’s license

You must obtain the medical certificate from your own doctor. So what you need to do is call your doctor and make an appointment so that your doctor can fill out this medical certificate.

Yes, you need the medical certificate.

It must be attached to your application form when it is submitted to citizen services

Remember to bring a photo when you go to the doctor, some doctors still make a signature on the backside, if they dont, ask to get the photo in the envelope

We are in contact with a first aid instructor  who will make a first aid course in english for us . Requirements is all 6 on the team will  take part at the same course to make it profitable to make the course

Yes you need the first aid course if :

This is your first driving license. It is a legal requirement to have a 8 hours traffic-related first aid course.

You dont need first aid course if :

You have a tractor driving license.
If you already have on. Notice, it must be maximum 1 year old when it goes to the citizen service with the application form
